4. Submit Application to the State for Approval
The third step is to come in for an in-person evaluation. This in-person visit is required by law and will take approximately one hour. During this visit, the Doctor will provide you with additional information about the use of medical marijuana and how to obtain it once approved by the State.
Finally, if the Doctor approves, the application will be electronically submitted to the State of Florida for final approval for a medical marijuana use card. If approved by the State, you will receive notification by email from the State and your State issued medical marijuana use card will be mailed to you shortly thereafter.
