Viviana Sokol is a Medical Doctor licensed in the State of Florida and Puerto Rico. She is also a licensed Occupational Therapist in the State of Florida. Originally from Argentina, Dr. Sokol began her career in the healing arts as an Occupational Therapist. Later, she decided to expand her education in health care by enrolling into medical school. In 2006 she graduated from St. Matthew's University, School of Medicine with a Doctor of Medicine degree.
Over the years, Dr. Sokol had the opportunity to work with different populations. Also, she continued to expand her knowledge and skills by taking classes in several healing arts, like Chinese Medicine, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Myofascial Release and Yoga Therapy.
At this time Dr. Sokol specializes in Integrative, Holistic and Functional Medicine, where she combines the use of conventional methods with non-conventional healing techniques. This combination of conventional medicine and well-proven alternative practices enables Dr. Sokol to achieve excellent results for patients who are committed to participate in their healing process. She created Healing Medicine, LLC in order to help patients achieve optimal health by getting to the root of their medical problems.
Dr. Sokol is also a State of Florida Medical Marijuana Qualified Physician and provides consultation services to clients for medically approved use of marijuana. If approved by the State of Florida for medical marijuana use, the client will receive a Medical Marijuana Card from the State. Dr. Sokol does not possess, maintain, dispense, sell, or otherwise handle marijuana products. If a client is approved for use of medical marijuana, the client will only be able to purchase medical marijuana products from State approved dispensaries. Dr. Sokol is not affiliated in any way with any medical marijuana dispensaries.
